David, I just re-discovered your site and this entry hit home with me. This is a fascinating way for me to think about this often thought about question. Curiosity. It feels more manageable to ponder how I can best serve others when I think about what has in the past and still continues to pique my interest when no one is judging. Thanks Dave

I was just speaking to a friend about getting to the "root" or "source" of our actions. And how there can be many extensions to the main root. "Reveal, deal, heal, and repeat..." wraps up the end result of our conversation. "Revealing" the root, (when most exposed) leads to the source, (first lie to self) which in turn causes one to "deal" with the lie, (if one chooses) and inevitably leads to "healing." One must "repeat" these steps everytime the root reveals yet another extension of itself. Ya might want to bring a machete. . . lOl. . . Reveal, deal, heal, repeat. . . I like it a lot!!! ;~)

WOW!!! I didn't see this one until this morning. It has hit a place so close that it made me cry...oh, don't feel bad...for it was a good cry. You see....I, until recently, thought that I have dealt with these things in which you speak of. And it was only until recently that certain situations over the past few months have revealed to me that there is more. The great thing about it is that this time there is no guilt. Today I begin a 6 wk. class titled "Fearless" ......perfect!!!

I've heard it put that life is not a destination, but more a manner of traveling. So, our well-intended efforts can over-focus us on a single road, rather than allowing for other, more adaptably true roads to lay down before us. As we move along in our journey we change, and so too must our course in order to continue toward true north...

Tricky one Dave...alot to chew on! Perhaps we would ignore our bounderies if we were certain we were pointing in the right direction....why would we need bounderies if we were certain? What is one really ever certain of? Our destiny can and probably would be off course when sailed in uncharted waters. How does our well-intended efforts help us true our course?
